A beautiful example of this book in the exterior could almost pass as new. Only issue is spine edge shows some bumping and the gilt shows some very light wear. Internal binding is good and text pages are tight. Pages are toned due to age and there is foxing present. Dark brown end pages and front and rear are clean and hinges are good. Only issue found is on the front pastedown where there is a chip to the paper finish on the outside edge.
