Un timbro di bibl. estinta al front., qualche fioritura, ma buon esemplare, intonso. (12028) Sono qui riportate nel testo greco, con le fitte annotazioni del curatore, le "glosse sa…cre" all'Antico e al Nuovo Testamento provenienti dal testo di Suida, ovvero da quel repertorio enciclopedico (vero "zibaldone") di estratti di autori greci compilato nell'XI secolo che va sotto quella denominazione, talvolta confusa col nome del supposto compilatore. Le glosse di Suida vengono riportate insieme con quelle tratte da Favvorino, ovvero Guarino Favorino (ca. 1445-1527), umanista originario di Favera, e vescovo di Nocera, professore a Firenze a Roma, e comparate anche con le glosse di Hesichius ed altri lessicografi. Johan Christian Gottlieb Ernest (1756-1802) fu dotto grecista e professore di filosofia; oltre alle note ha inserito in apertura una sua Dissertatiuncula sull'argomento.
