Luigi PICCHI, nato a Como nel 1969, insegna Lettere al Liceo Scientifico Paolo Giovio della sua città. Ha pubblicato poesie, traduzioni e articoli vari di letteratura. Massimo LOMASTO Ha studiato a Milano all'Accademia di Brera, sotto la guida di Walter Lazzaro. Ha poi approfondito la tecnica della pittura ad olio presso l'atelier "Luigi Lomanto", ed ha successivamente seguito corsi di perfezionamento di tecnica dell'acquerello con Osmo Visuri, a Spello. È membro dell'Associazione finlandese degli Acquerellisti e dell'Akvarelli Akatemia. Dal 1985 si è applicato all'incisione; in particolare ha studiato le tecniche della acquatinta, sia classica che sperimentale. Ha cercato di portare la tecnica dell'acido diretto alla maggiore resa tonale e timbrica ricorrendo alla stampa in doppia battuta, a quattro colori. Negli ultimi anni si è applicato alla tecnica della fotoincisione e alle tecniche sperimentali dello stucco a rilievo. I soggetti prediletti sono il paesaggio e il ritratto.
