Teschen 1908 A Very Good offprint in original printed wrappers from Monats Math Physik vol. XIX, 1908, with crease, cover edge wear, tears at spine. 8vo. pp. 205-246. Included in this offprint is "Ein Ergänzungssatz zur Cauchyschen Integraldarstellung Analytischer Funktionen, Randwerte Betreffend." Very Good Paperback Riemann's problem, concerning the existence of a linear differential equation of the Fuchsian class with prescribed regular singular points and monodromy group, had been reduced to the solution of an integral equation by Hilbert in 1905. Plemelj discovered equations relating to boundary values of holomorphic functions which are now called "Plemelj formulae" and shortly after this was able to solve Riemann's problem in his paper "Riemmanian classes of functions with given monodromy group" (this paper). The equations are today important in a number of different fields, including neutron transport theory where a singular integral equation is encountered. Mathematics. Book.
