A near fine copy with a small neat contemporary signature to the front endpaper; fresh and clean inside and out. Originally published in book form in 1853 but not becoming really popular until the 1890s when the publisher increased sales by offering lower-priced illustrated editions. Kelliegram bindings such as this one were produced by the English bookbinding company, Kelly & Sons, at the turn of the twentieth century.
