Prima edizione
Condizione: Near Fine. First edition. Quite scarce, with only five copies listed on OCLC First Search, and only one of these in the U.S. (at Illinois State). No. 49 on rives blanc from a total limitation of 106. 4to. 31.5 by 25.5 cm. Suite of 12 color etchings of a risqué Parisian nightclub, with dancers such as the Folies Bergere or Tabarin -- dance lines, skimpy attire, high kicking, a balloon dancer, a jaded chanteuse, an exotic "Latin" ballroom dancer, a black dancer, black jazz musicians, an "American" performer, etc. The pictures are titled in the table of plates, and each is signed in pencil by Ronsin. The very colorful plates capture the ebullient esprit of the nightclub, its fun, and perhaps just a touch of its sleaze and pathos. The plates are in fine condition. Only the slipcase shows wear. Wrappers. Board chemise and slipcase.
