No illustrations are included, the books presumably being designed for use within the gallery itself. Volume II has some loss at the top of the spine (about 4cm), the missing piece being preserved inside the volume; Volume I is better, with only very light rubbing at the corners; both covers otherwise clean; both vols have previous owner names to front endpapers, but are otherwise very clean internally with no marks or annotation.
