Kunst als Anregung zu einer kritischen Auseinandersetzung mit der Umwelt wird am Beispiel der Plastiken und Environments Prents aufgefaßt als Versuch, Störungen der Persönlichkeit und der Gesellschaft sowie hindernde und krankmachende Momente im zwischenmenschlichen Bereich besser verständlich zu machen und somit Ansätze aufzuzeigen, wie sie sich verhüten bzw. beheben ließen. This image was used by Michael Prent on the poster for his exhibition at the Isaacs Gallery and at the Gallery of York University in 1974. The exhibition was raided by the morality squad of the Toronto Police De…partment and the exhibition forced to closed. The artist and Av Isaacs, the Gallery's owner, were charged under the Disgusting Objects Law of the then criminal code. The works in the exhibition had been show without incident at the Warren Benedek Gallery New York, the Museum of Modern Art in Paris, the Art Gallery of Ontario amongst other locations.
