Hardcover. Condizione: Very Good. No Jacket. 2nd Edition. ENGINEERING CASSELL S ENGINEERS HANDBOOK 2 VOLUMES NO DATE VERY GOOD. Here for your consideration is another set of technical books which I must move along to someone who will enjoy seeing them on their bookshelf. I am offering here the two volume, hard cover set of: Cassell s Engineers Handbook Comprising Facts and Formulae, Principles and Practice in all Branches of Engineering, by Prof. Henry Adams. This set of medium-sized hard cover book (6 ¾ x 9 ½ inches, to page 404 in Volume I, and to page 792 in Volume II) were published by Cassell and Company of London, no date offered but research suggests they are from the 1920 s. On the title page, it says: Thoroughly Revised, Up-to-Date and Considerably Enlarged. I have been able to confirm that this is a complete set because of the page numbering in the Table of Contents in Volume I (please see the photo). They are identically bound, in red cloth with gilt titles on the spine. Condition: These two books are in very good condition. The hard covers show some edge wear but nothing extreme, basically minor bumping to the corners and spine tips. The spines may be ever so slightly sunned but you will have to decide for yourself. Inside, the books are unmarked although I do detect some erasures, hard to see, of what may have been bookseller s penciled pricing on the front endpapers. The interior pages are clean and bright throughout, without foxing or age-toning. All the hinges are intact, and the bindings are tight and sound. These books are not ex-library or remainders.
