They fought in New Guinea and the Philippines. Together the division spent 306 days in combat. They earned two Medal of Honors, 15 Distinguished Service Crosses and 3277 Purple Hearts. The book is filled with black and white photos and includes 17 maps. Good+ copy of the first edition. The book's lettering on the spine is fading. 179 pages.
