Full period morocco with initials inlaid in red and blue to both boards, pastedowns of full deep blue leather with ornate gilt geometric designs, silk free endpapers, additional ornate extra endpapers, fine floral gilt gauffered edges, spine lettered in blind, held within a leather edged slipcase with a leather backed chemise. In fine condition. (xx) 516 pages and illustrated throughout with wood engraved borders and some full page plates - in the style of a printed medieval book of hours. LIMITED EDITION OF 20 COPIES (number 7) printed on Papier de Chine.

(1874), 15,5 x 12 cm, printed in red and black on laid paper, each page with a decorative wood-cut border. 516 pp. Binding; contemporary full dark blue morocco, raised back with gilt ornamental compartments, intricate gilt fillets on both covers (teeth fillet, three fine straight fillets and a very large floral fillet at the inside of the rectangular). All edges gilt, lining and mounted endpaper in purple watered silk. The lining mounted in a lace-like gilt border, top and bottom head caps in green and yellow silk. Large gilt initials of the owner on the silk lining ; ''M.Z. 9 Juin 1877''. Binding signed at bottom of spine ; ''Lesort''. Very fine binding in a perfect state of preservation, kept in a modern blue cloth box.

Back with 5 raised bands and blind-tooled title. In contemporary box. Very fine binding.
