Se presentan distintos ejemplos prácticos, de cálculo de elementos deprimógenos y válvulas de regulación para líquidos, gases y vapores. Así mismo, se analizan las tareas que corresponden a los cinco niveles jerárquicos de automatización de una planta industrial. Finalmente, se desarrolla un ejemplo práctico de elaboración de especificaciones técnicas de consulta para equipos de medida y regulación y se describen las distintas etapas del desarrollo de un proyecto, desde su origen hasta la recepción de la instalación. Para hacer más fácil y amena la lectura del libro, se acompaña el texto con gran número de esquemas, figuras y tablas.
