Hardcover. Condizione: Very Good. Condizione sovraccoperta: Poor. 1st Edition. German language. An account of the world's equestrian sports at the Olympic Games of 1936, which were held in Nazi Germany. Details horses and riders as well as various events. This is a RARE first edition, first printing copy. The endpapers and surrounding pages (including the title page) as well as the edges of much of the textblock are quite browned and foxed, but otherwise the majority of the book is generally clean and crisp with no writing, marks, underlining, or bookplates. No remainder marks. Not an ex-library copy. Spine is tight and crisp. Corners are square and not bumped. Navy blue boards have minimal edge wear but are moderately soiled, especially along the spine where the gold gilt lettering is dulled. Both boards do bow out slightly. The dust jacket is in poor condition at best with most of it in pieces. Luckily the front cover is basically intact, just torn in places and heavily tattered. The remains of the jacket will be included in mylar. A highly collectible work! Satisfaction guaranteed! Size: 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. Book.
