Useful Table of Cases in Alphabetical order precedes Main Text in both volumes. Vol. I, Main Text 746 Pages + a Table of Priciple Matters at the back, 46 pages.…Finally a list of Books printed for C. Davis. Vol. II, Main Text pagination continues to 1591 + Table of Principle Matters. Contemporary Brown Full-Leather Bindings with 6 Raised Bands to spines. 12 1/2" Tall, 6 Kilos. Vol. I has splits to leather down sides of spine and some finr cracks on spine. Boards still attached. Some tears and scrapes to leather and a few little bits missing. Ffep detached but present. Text block firm. Frontis portrait in very good condition. Antique gift inscription on ffep and penciled name on endpaper. Another previous owner's name (antique inscription) at top of title page. No other inscriptions. Vol. II is missing much of the leather from the spine, also the lower band. Some leather also missing from boards (see photos). Boards detached but present. Ffep, 2 preliminary pages and the last 2 pages at the back are detached but present. rest of text block firm. Bookplate illustrated with Armorial bearing of "John Measure, Lincoln's Inn" on Endpaper. His name also on ffep with another below, also of Lincoln's Inn.No other inscriptions. Set weighs 6 Kilos so Shipping Outside UK will be extra. Size: Folio - over 12" - 15" tall.
