Legatura coeva in piena pelle, dorso a sei nervi con titoli e fregi in oro agli scomparti; tagli spruzzati. Piccole mancanze alle estremità del dorso minime spellature; lievi fioriture dovute alla qualità della carta e qualche alone sparso, tracce di polvere e qualche frastagliatura marginale limitate al frontespizio. Buon esemplare. Pierre Rebuffi (1487-1557), giureconsulto di Montpellier, insegnò diritto canonico a Montpellier, Tolosa, Cahors, Bourges e Parigi. Oltre all'attività di canonista, culminata con la chiamata di Paolo III ad uditore della Rota romana, Rebuffi ebbe modo di distinguersi anche come civilista, commentando alcuni titoli del Digesto giustinianeo e compilando mumerose monografie.
