Lighting, Lighting of S Mary's Church, Market Hill, Martlesham Land, Melton Town Land, New Church laying foundation stone.' With accompanying dates or numerical references.' Thellusson was High Sheriff of Suffolk in 1870, MP for Suffolk East (18741885), and chairman of the East Suffolk County Council. 'Having been your Representative about 12 years, for which mark of confidence I desire to thank you, I have felt it my duty to come forward at the request of a very large number of Voters, to offer myself again as the Conservative Candidate.' Despite this appeal the voters of the newly re-organised constituency elected the Liberal candidate, Robert Everitt.

This illustration being a fine exterior view of Rendlesham Hall of Suffolk, titled and dated. Size approx 6 x 5" (16.5 x 13cm). Ready for framing.
