A tribute to the International Brigades in Spain, mainly in the form of poems from combatants and famous poets from all over the world with a few short autobiographical memories as well. Contributors…include: Alberti, Branson, Carpentier, Cornford, C Day Lewis, I Ehrenberg, Machado, Neruda, Orwell, H Read, S Spender etc. Text is in Spanish. From the Marx Memorial Library International Brigade Archives, which makes this a nice asociation copy. The only library traces are a sticker to spine, 1 stamp and a very small bar code label. There is a slight abrasion and a very light stain to the paper title label on front cover.
