Heavy spotting to plates, blanks and facing leaves, otherwise crisp and clean. Spine toned, with some light rubbing and a couple of bumps. Very good. A decidedly deluxe edition of Gray's poetry, with about one third of the volume consisting of a Life of the poet. Likely bound to be used interchangeably as a gift or prize book.

Likely bound to be used interchangeably as a gift or prize book, it contains no evidence of a dedication or prize inscription.
