Stuart apparently made a series of these unique books. This is #9, prepared for Lloyd Eugene Transue, and signed by "Pappy" (Stuart). Vintage studio still photograph from the 1970 film. During World War II, a group of American soldiers are dropped behind German lines to blow up a dam, but all but one of them are caught and killed. The sole survivor is picked up by a group of kids who want in on sabotaging the Nazis. Set in Northern Italy, shot on location in Gazzola, Italy. 8.25 x 6.75 inches, trimmed. Very Good plus, with creasing along the top and right edges, and some slight wear to the finish.
