Fasziniert von diesem besonderen Kunstort entwickelte Kurt Fleckenstein im Rahmen einer Austellung sein Installationskonzept: Der Mast einer Hochspannungsfernleitung wird in das Erdgeschoß der ehemaligen St. Annen-Kirche liegend montiert. Bereits im offenen Vorraum wird der Besucher mit einer ihm bekannten und doch fremden Konstruktion konfrontiert. In der neuen Kunsthalle sind nur noch bedingt Zeichen zu erkennen, die auf die Funktion und Architektur der ehemaligen Kirche hinweisen. Der Mast einer Fernleitung bildet ein Kreuz, welches der Größe des gesamten Kirchenbaus entspricht. Das Kreuz Christi, versinnbildlicht durch eine Konstruktion, die dem nationalen und internationalen Energietransport dient.
