In the publisher's original blue cloth, with in-text garden knot designs between leaves pp.21-28. A charming work that went through numerous subsequent editions, Rohde popularised the modern English herb garden as we see it today. She stresses the multiple purposes that a herb garden can provide other than aesthetic beauty, such as for medicinal, food, and drink purposes. In the publisher's original blue cloth. Externally, mostly smart, with a mark to the rear board, and a couple of faint marks to extremities. Slight rubbing to joints and edges.
