Interessante repertorio di questo georgofilo fiorentino nel quale sono state raccolte una gran massa di notizie non solamente riguardo la coltivazione anche su quasi tutti gli allevamenti agricoli (bovini, ovini, polli, api ecc.). Di particolare interesse sono le voci dedicate al latte e formaggi, in particolare cacio, burro, gioncata ecc. ma anche alla voce vino viene fornita un intererssante ricettario per fare vini all'uso di Montepulciano, piu' o meno odoroso, durevole, colorato ecc. per fare la Malvagia, per farlo all'uso di Carmignano, per fare il trebbiano fiorentino ovvero all'uso di Lamporecchia, l'occhio di pernice, Moscadello rosso ecc. Saltini, esaminando questo testo, ascrive il Ronconi alla categoria dei curiosi di novita' scientifiche ,piuttosto che scienziato autentico, seppure inserito nell'ambito del fermento toscano legato al rinnovamento delle modalita' di sfruttamento della terra.
