Sea fish biology and behaviour is dealt with in detail and something of technique in different situations is also covered. A large part of the book analyses the physical aspects of coastal and offshore waters: tides, currents, the wind and its effects, coastal and sea bed features, estuaries and bays, meteorology and its relevance to the behaviour and properties of seawater, all of which, and much else, are addressed in great detail. A great book of much practical value. .
