The jacket has large chips especially on spine and numerous tears. This book is the biography of Lillian Roth and tells her story of her fight against 16 years spent in alcoholism and mental illness. Her story was sketched on the TV program This is Your Life. This book gives the full account of Roth's life. She was an actress in the 1920's to the 1940's. She was in Ziegfeld's Follies, She was a child actor and first appeared at age 6 in Educational Pictures and Sam Goldwyn. She appeared with her sister Ann in vaudeville until 1924. Proceeds from the sale of this book benefit environmental restoration and education.
