David (known as Dayed because he could not pronounce his name correctly) a privileged 6 year old child from the Regents Park area of London befriends a little girl and together they share a magical world of Fairies, Mermaids and Hobgoblins. Her name is "Rif" - because his Nursemaid referred to her as Rif Raff ! Please see our images of the actual book offered for sale for further details and condition. Good no dust jacket (Book - moderate general shelf wear to cloth - colour rubbing only, light shelf soiling, gilt titles to spine dulled, offset browning to free end papers.
