Hardcover. Condizione: VG+. Condizione sovraccoperta: VG+. 1st. This is the centennial history of one of the most isolated, and difficult to access, settlements in New Zealand. Jacksons Bay, near the southernmost extremity of the West Coast of the South Island traces its origins as a settlement back to 1874 when a large area the…re was set was set aside as Government "special settlement" scheme. The Bay experienced revival in the 1960s when adequate roading acess became available bringing the long-awaited prosperity. 198 pages including six appendices, bibliography, index, 34 b/w photos, e/paper maps.
