Paperback. Condizione: New. Print on Demand. This biography explores the personal and professional life of Ludwig van Beethoven, one of the greatest composers in Western music. Born in 1770, Beethoven's musical talent became apparent at an early age, and he began his formal training at the age of 7. The author provides a detailed account of Beethoven's early life and influences, including his difficult relationship with his father, his studies with various teachers, and his early compositions. The book also examines Beethoven's personal life, including his struggles with deafness and his numerous love affairs, and how those experiences found expression in his music. The author places Beethoven's work in the context of the broader musical and cultural developments of his time, and traces the evolution of his compositional style from his early works to his groundbreaking later masterpieces. Through meticulous research and analysis, this book offers a comprehensive and engaging portrait of one of the most influential and beloved composers of all time.
