Noch sehr zeitnah zu den Ereignissen verfaßte Darstellung zum sog. zweiten Freischarenzug des Jahres 1845. Nachdem ein erster Auftand liberaler Kräfte gegen die katholisch-konservative Luzerner Regierung im Vorjahr gescheitert war, zogen am 31. März 1845 erneut 3500 Aufständische von Huttwil und Zofingen in Richtung Luzern, unter ihnen der Dichter Gottfried Keller. Der Sturz der Kantonsregierung gelang aber nicht, die Aufstandsbewegung wurde von Luzerner Regierungstruppen an den Folgetagen rasch zerstreut. Die Kämpfe kosteten 120 Beteiligte das Leben. Buchrücken etwas berieben; Seiten überwiegend etwas fleckig (wenige Seiten stärker); die Karte rückseitig etwas stabilisiert. In toto gutes Exemplar.
