Kaesdorf wuchs in Osijek/Esseg in Kroatien auf, studierte 1934-1938 Rechtswissenschaft in Zagreb/Agram und kam nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg nach Deutschland, wo er ab 1950 im schwäbischen Biberach an der Riß als Rechtsanwalt und Maler arbeitete. Er war verheiratet mit der Malerin Romane Holderried Kaesdorf. Überregional bekannt wurde Kaesdorf durch seine Malerei: kleinformatige, zarte Ölbilder und Zeichnungen, die er meist mit hintergründigen, ironischen Titeln versah. 1989 erhielt er zusammen mit seiner Ehefrau den Oberschwäbischen Kunstpreis. In deutscher Sprache. 160 pages. 275x225 mm.
