Inscribed by the artist. Light spotting to preliminaries and top edge of textblock, ot…herwise internally clean, bumping to spine and corners. Very good. This copy of 'A Box of Paints' is a limited edition of only 1000 copies. It is inscribed by the artist in black ink on the free endpaper: "To R.S. from AR, October 1923". This collection comprises of 15 poems with in-text illustrations. The author Geoffrey Scott, mainly known as a historian of architecture, was the winner of the James Tait Black Memorial Prize in 1925 for his biography of Isabelle de Charriere. Signed.
