Colhoun.A fascinating and richly informative insight into prevailing medical attitudes to a wealth of diseases in the early nineteenth century. Rebacked, in quarter calf bindings with paper covered boards, and endpapers renewed. Slight fading to back strip of volume I, with minor rubbing to back strips. Internally, firmly bound. Former owner's inscription to head of title pages, with library stamp to title pages also. With instances of spotting throughout, and the odd patch of foxing to the rear of volume II. Very Good.
