Aggiungi al carrelloOpera non comune. Copia proveniente dalla estinta biblioteca della R. N. PISA. Il Pisa à stato un incrociatore corazzato della Regia Marina. Costato 19.138.802 lire, il Pisa fu iscritto nei Quadri del Naviglio Militare con Regio Decreto dell'8 settembre 1907. Sebbene si trattasse, al momento della progettazione, di una buona uni…tÃ, il Pisa entrà in servizio quando l'introduzione della Dreadnought e dell'incrociatore da battaglia lo aveva ormai reso superato. L'unica differenza rilevante tra il Pisa ed il gemello Amalfi era costituita dall'apparato motore: mentre quello del Pisa era una sostanziale replica di quello della corazzata Vittorio Emanuele, quello dell'Amalfi riproduceva quello della corazzata Regina Elena. Tra il 1925 ed il 1930 l'unità fu adibita al ruolo di nave scuola per le campagne d'addestramento dell'Accademia Navale di Livorno. Negli ultimi anni fu convertita in nave caserma. Radiato nel 1937, il Pisa venne avviato alla demolizione. Breve raccolta di azioni navali. Bollati, Quirino Domenico Eugenio, barone di Saint-Pierre nacque a Torino il 31 marzo 1856 da Emanuele e da Irene Vagina d'Emarese, entrà nella R. scuola di marina di Genova il 10 luglio 1872, uscendone con la nomina a guardiamarina il 30 nov. 1876. Imbarcato su numerose unità sottili, fu promosso sottotenente di vascello il 2 ott. 1879, tenente di vascello il 17 nov. 1885, capitano di corvetta il 14 genn. 1897. Nel triennio 1897-98-99 fu destinato ad impartire lezioni di arte militare alla scuola superiore di guerra di Torino. Frutto di questa attività furono gli Appunti di arte militarenavale, Torino 1898, sviluppati poi in alcuni volumi (Delle spedizioni marittime, Torino 1900; La guerra in mare, Torino 1900; Navi da guerra e difese costiere, Torino 1903; Breve raccolta di azioni navali, Torino 1904), che, pur non avendo un originale valore teorico, svolsero un'ampia opera di divulgazione della teoria del predominio marittimo sostenuta dal Mahan e divulgata già in Italia dal Bonamico. Il B. morà a Torino l'11 genn. 1931." Formato: 71 p., V c. di tav. rip., 25 cm, mezza pergamena con etichettine e numeri manoscritti al dorso.
