The boards remain fully attached and there are no loose pages despite minor gutter cracks at the front boards. The text block is clean with no marks or annotations. On the inner board there is a presentation plate from the trustees of the British Museum and partially covering this is that of a university library whose borrowing plate is on the front end paper. There is a library stamp on the half title page. The 8 coloured plates are clean and bright.
