hardcover. Condizione: Good. The Elements of Welsh Grammar by Samuel J. Evans is a classic introduction to the structure and principles of the Welsh language, written for students, teachers and independent learners. Covering pronunciation, spelling, mutations, grammar and syntax with clear explanations and practical examples drawn from Welsh literature, the book became a standard educational text in the early twentieth century. Its straightforward approach and scholarly treatment make it both a valuable learning aid and an important record of Welsh language teaching of its era. An essential volume for students, linguists and collectors of Welsh language and educational history.

Dublin: J. Falconer, 1909. Evans, Samuel W. Catalogue of the Books in the Library of the Incorporated Law Society of Ireland: With an Index of Subjects. Dublin: Printed for the Society by J. Falconer, 1909. 228 pp. Original crimson cloth with gilt stamped spine and front cover. Some wear, spine faded, boards soiled and warped. Spine ends and corners worn. Endpapers soiled. Internally clean. A good copy. $50. * A scarce and useful bibliographical record of one of Ireland's most important legal libraries at the beginning of the twentieth century. Compiled by Samuel W. Evans, this catalogue documents the holdings of the Incorporated Law Society of Ireland, reflecting the scope and depth of legal scholarship available to the Irish bar during a formative period in modern legal history. The catalogue is systematically arranged and enhanced by a detailed subject index, making it an effective research tool for tracing historical legal literature across common law, equity, constitutional law, and related fields. Beyond its practical utility, the volume offers valuable insight into the intellectual priorities and institutional foundations of the Irish legal profession in the pre-independence era. An attractive resource for collectors of legal bibliography, historians of Irish law, and scholars interested in the history of professional libraries and legal education. Dublin: J. Falconer, 1909.
