Samuel Weed Barnum, an American minister and author, and Samuel Rossiter Betts, an American attorney, politician, and jurist who served as a United States representative and a United States district judge for the Southern District of New York. Bound in quarter cloth with marbled boards. Externally, sound with rubbing and light bumping to the extremities. Fading to the spine with light sunning to the boards. Splits in the cloth to the spine resulting in light loss. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with scattered spotting and minor age toning to the extremities.
