Chief Rabbi Herz was a consummate diplomat, but for many Jews Storrs reputation is in the toilet and rightly so. And as for Herbert Samuel, he was a weak-willed man, overly anxious to demonstrate to his bosses in London, and to the Arabs, that, though Jewish, he was "even handed." God save us from such Jews as Herbert Samuel.
