Los autores, con experiencia diferente en el sector por nuestro perfil profesional (médico Esperanza), director general del Centro San Camilo (José Carlos), nos complementamos también por nuestra procedencia: la medicina, las humanidades. Compartimos la formación en bioética y en counselling y ello nos posiciona con miradas que nos enriquecen recíprocamente ante el mundo del vivir el morir. Por eso, trabajar juntos nos permite complementar nuestra mirada y enriquecerla con el saber y el perfil del otro. Esperanza Santos es Médico de Familia, Máster de Bioética, Cuidados Paliativos (CCPP), Counselling e Intervención en Duelo. Trabaja como médico de Atención Primaria desde 1990, pertenece al equipo asistencial de la Unidad de CCPP en el Centro Sociosanitario San Camilo y es profesora del Centro de Humanización de la Salud en Tres Cantos (Madrid). José Carlos Bermejo religioso camilo, doctor en teología pastoral sanitaria y máster en bioética y Counselling, es profesor en la Universidad Ramón Lull de Barcelona, en la Católica de Portugal y en el Camillianum de Roma. Ha publicado más de cuarenta libros relacionados con la humanización.
