A week later he issued no. 2 as Athenian mercury, which he continued to vol. 20, no. 10, 14 June 1697 (the 30th no. of each vol. to include a preface and index). In 1703-04 Dunton published the Athenian oracle as "an entire collection o what was valuable in the Athenian Mercuries." in 3 vols., with a supplementary vol. in 1710. This selection prints from the original in the Bodleian Library, on p. 259-61, an agreement signed by Sam. Wesley, Richard Sault and John Dunton on 10 April 1691. Good rubbed rose beige cloth. Lacks feps, notes on pastedowns.

Final three leaves have creasing and short tears to the upper corner, text is very slightly affected on the final leaf. Lacking the engraved frontis and leaf B5 (p9/10). Tear and crease to B4 (p7/8).
