We think to help on scientific research with our report, for the material in question is certainly worthy of attention. As early as 1943 the bibliography of the Jewish question in Hungary was drawn up by Michael Kolosvary-Borcsa who had a practical object in view which he was able to realize very soon. It was on the basis of his list that in 1944, during the German occupation of Hungary, the works of the Hungarian Jewish authors were sent to the stamping mill, quite on the pattern of the book-burning of Göbbels.
