Presentation box bound in burgundy leatherette (Engel Rel stamped to inner dentelles)) with gilt decorative motifs and heraldic gilded guards with full gilt edge resembling a book with lining of green moire silk inside. Box Near fine. Inside all pages and plates in excellent clean and bright condition with the cover of the loose watercolours a little grubby. All housed in clamshell box with white decorative paper covered boards( A little grubby) with green felt lining and leather title label to inside spine. For added interest a signed certificate of a "tribute from Paris to Sir James Wilson McKay, Lord Provost of Edinburgh" signed by both the President and the trustee of the Paris council 1970. Sir James Wilson McKay (1912- 1992) was Lord Provost between 1969 -1972 and Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of Scotland from 1979- 1983.
