Haase. - Einband leicht bestoßen und lichtrandig, sonst sehr sauber. - Aus dem Text: it 1…972 befindet sich im Museum von Izmit eine Votivstele, die nach Mitteilung des Museumsdirektors von einem Antikenhändler gekauft wurde1. Dieser habe sie in Sedemli bei Manisa erstanden. Ein solcher Ortsname ist aber unbekannt und kann auf keiner Karte nachgewiesen werden. Bei der Angabe kann es sich also nur um ein Mißverständnis oder um eine Entstellung handeln. Selendi im Nordosten des antiken Lydien wäre ein ähnlich lautender Name. Die nähere Ortsbezeichnung bei Manisa besagt wohl nur, daß der Fundort innerhalb des heutigen Vilayets Manisa liegt. Eine Reihe von Hinweisen, die im folgenden noch näher erörtert werden sollen, deutet jedenfalls darauf hin, daß dieses Denkmal aus Lydien und wahrscheinlich sogar aus der Gegend von Kula stammt. - Wikipedia: Elmar Schwertheim (* 9.
