A ragtime scholar and…performer, he shared a passion for music with Wodehouse, a famed musical lyricist. Wodehouse edited and wrote the introduction for this collection of stories by such fellow humourists as Robert Benchley, Leo Rosten, and S. J. Perelman. Jasen p. 257; McIlvaine B10a. Octavo. Illustrations throughout. Original black cloth, spine lettered in silver. With dust jacket. Minor rubbing to spine lettering, spine ends bumped, wear to one lower corner; jacket slightly rubbed but bright, ends and corners chipped, couple of short closed tears to edges, price-clipped: a very good copy in like jacket.
