This item is printed on demand - it takes 3-4 days longer - Neuware -Der Autor des vorliegenden Bandes Carly Seyfarth (1890-1950) studierte er an der Universität Leipzig Medizin, Anthropologie, Ethnographie und Urgeschichte. 1913 promovierte ihn die Universität Leipzig mit der Dissertation Aberglaub…e und Zauberei in der Volksmedizin Sachsens.In der europäischen Geschichte gab es neben der intellektuellen Hochmagie der Renaissance auch im einfachen Volk vielfältige magische Praktiken. Diese wurden laut Susan Greenwood in Dörfern von 'weißen Hexen', die Zauberer, Hexer oder Weise waren, die als Volksheiler galten und deren Dienste in Anspruch genommen wurden, ausgeführt, insbesondere auch, um negative Wirkungen der schädlichen Hexen zu exorzieren. Andere magische Praktiken der weißen Hexen waren z. B. Wahrsagen und Herstellung von Heilmitteln und Heilzauber für viele Krankheiten, sowohl von Menschen als auch von Tieren. Die weißen Hexen galten als Kämpfer gegen die gefürchtete schädliche Hexerei, wozu magische Mittel benutzt wurden, weshalb auch die weißen Hexen im Volk gefürchtet waren, obwohl man ihnen Ehrerbietung entgegenbrachte. Hexen und Magie waren Teil der Volkskultur dieser Zeit.Die Romantik mit ihrer Hinwendung zum Unbewussten ging aus der Klassik und ihrer Tendenz zum apollinisch Verstandesmäßigen hervor. Damit entwickelten sich Autoren wie der Maler, Arzt und Naturphilosoph Carl Gustav Carus, der zu den Vorgängern parapsychologischer Forscher zählt. Diese wurden laut Susan Greenwood in Dörfern von ¿weißen Hexen¿, die Zauberer, Hexer oder Weise waren, die als Volksheiler galten und deren Dienste in Anspruch genommen wurden, ausgeführt, insbesondere auch, um negative Wirkungen der schädlichen Hexen zu exorzieren. Andere magische Praktiken der weißen Hexen waren z. B. Wahrsagen und Herstellung von Heilmitteln und Heilzauber für viele Krankheiten, sowohl von Menschen als auch von Tieren. Die weißen Hexen galten als Kämpfer gegen die gefürchtete schädliche Hexerei, wozu magische Mittel benutzt wurden, weshalb auch die weißen Hexen im Volk gefürchtet waren, obwohl man ihnen Ehrerbietung entgegenbrachte. Hexen und Magie waren Teil der Volkskultur dieser Zeit. Die Romantik mit ihrer Hinwendung zum Unbewussten ging aus der Klassik und ihrer Tendenz zum apollinisch Verstandesmäßigen hervor. Damit entwickelten sich Autoren wie der Maler, Arzt und Naturphilosoph Carl Gustav Carus, der zu den Vorgängern parapsychologischer Forscher zählt.
