In-8° (240x155mm), pp. XLVII (1), 452, (2) di errata ed avviso al legatore. Cartonatura rigida coeva con titolo dorato su tassello nero al dorso. Stemma sabaudo inciso al frontespizio. Antiporta litografica raffigurante un monumento equestre. 9 tavv. ripiegate f.t. incise in litografia da Briano e C. da invenzione di Pietro Ayres raffiguranti armature, balestre, scudi, corazze, elmi, spade, coltelli, pugnali, lance, asce, sciabole, fucili, pistole, ecc., conservate nelle collezioni dell'Armeria Reale di Torino. Ogni tavola reca a fronte una legenda con testo litografato. Lievi arrossature alle prime pagine; tavole in più che buono stato di conservazione (alcune con minimi restauri conservativi). Più che con esemplare con invio autografo dell' autore al verso della carta bianca anteriore. Edizione originale del primo catalogo a stampa dell'Armeria Reale. Il Seyssel d'Aix (Torino, 1799-ivi, 1862) fu Capitano nel Corpo Reale di Artiglieria, Scudiere del Principe di Carignano, Gentiluomo di Camera del Re di Sardegna, Cavaliere di San Maurizio e Lazzaro nonché Direttore e Conservatore dell'Armeria Reale stessa. Nel 1848 ebbe una medaglia d'argento al valor militare per il coraggio dimostrato contro gli austriaci. Vinet, 2062. Non in Manno. Inglese.
