Blue cloth covers with the Modern Library logo blind stamped on the front cover. Gold lettering and bands on the spine are bright. Covers exhibit light wear and bumping on corners and spine ends. Very light shelf wear to the covers. Text and the full page map in the front of the book showing Sevastopol in 1855 are slightly yellowed due to age. Otherwise clean and unmarked. Hinges are tight. DJ is in a protective mylar cover with multiple chips and soiling on front edges and hinges. Small tears, creasing and soiling to upper and lower edges, spine ends and corners.
