Minor shelf/edge wear to terra cotta boards with gilt titles and accents - corners sharp. Author Simonds claimed "almost twenty years of association with Mr. Ford in various capa…cities," and based his biography on personal knowledge as well as the printed record and "testimony of those who have known him best." 14 pages of B & W photos. (note: Simonds was also the biographer of Thomas Alva Edison). A very handsome vintage copy sadly missing the DJ. LOC SSS-01.

Black and white portrait frontispiece. Ex library copy with associated labels, inserts, stamps and annotations. Pages remain bright and clean with minimal tannin…g and foxing. Binding remains firm. Boards have heavy shelf wear with bumping and fraying to corners and crushing, fraying and tearing to spine ends and edges. All surfaces tanned and sunned, particularly spine. Gilt lettering to spine is slightly dulled.
