The green cloth covers though clean are quite worn by rubbing to spine ends (top vol.1 torn across above textblock with small chip to back) and joints, all outer corners a little bumped, a few small dents to fore-edges, top textblock still fairly dusty despite attempt at cleaning it. G(-) may be a bit harsh though given age and clean tight unmarked nature of text, but clearly a reference/working copy even if signed. I cannot see if he discusses the famous 'Giffen goods' paradox in this work (when demand increases when price increases under certain circumstances).
