The second item Underwood's Guide to the Translation and Composition of Latin Descriptions with an Explanatory Latin Grammar written in a familiar style, together with a textbook and exercises. Published J Souter, London 1835. vii, 71, 119, 52 pp. The third item, Reid's Manual of Practical Midwifery containing a Description of Natural and Difficult Labours with their Management intended chiefly as a book of reference for students and junior practitioners, illustrated by fifteen engravings, published by Churchill, London in 1836. xii, 246 pp. Engravings present as called for. Quite a large ink blot on page 47 but the text is still legible. The binding is red cloth covered boards with gilt titling and library cartouche to spine, a relatively modern binding. A00007507.
