This is not the first edition, but the rarer later variant edition of the same year, which has some poems omitted, and replaced by mock South African [Boer] War reports inserted, on pp. 67 / 68, 115 / 116, 161 / 162 and 221. Written dedication reads: 'To Betty, with love from Aunty Vall and Uncle Tom Boyd, June 1919'.).
