She praises the recipient's 'critical faculty', adding 'The points taken are seldom just the points.' She will let the recipient's 'good opinion' of her be known 'in one or two quarters'. Having met the recipient some time before, she desires a meeting on her return to town. She ends with a reference to 'the terrible undertaking of the search for a house, as we have been homeless these past years'.
